Great Question Lisa! I remember there was a time I was working 70 hours a week & my children noted that they only saw me in the car on the way to work & school. And at the end of the month 65% of the income went to the business, 30% went to paying staff & I had the smallest blimp of income that was lower than minimum wage at the time…
I get it, at some point it feels like you are a volunteer in a business that’s not fun! We try working harder, or throwing a bunch of ads at the problem & none of these things make the needle move.
The problem is that we hold onto those ideas for far too long & then start thinking that it is normal.
